Letter From Vienna, Va

9/16/2016

To whom it may concern:

Randy, Sergio, and their team did a fantastic job restoring a lot of masonry on both the interior and exterior of our 1979 Vienna house shortly after we moved in. We have three brick fireplaces leading into one chimney stack made of antique brick, the exterior of which was very badly damaged due to years of exposure to the elements and neglect. It was a safety hazard as entire bricks had fallen out and much of the mortar was loosening. We received numerous estimates from a wide varieties of companies, and Randy was the only one who had the knowledge of how to properly work with antique brick, and gave the most sensible proposal for how to repair the failing chimney. The crew spent over a week meticulously setting up scaffolding and rebuilding a majority of the chimney, and pouring a new chimney cap. They expertly chose bricks that would blend in with the existing brick, and made sure new mortar also blended seamlessly.  Aside from the chimney work, Randy and his team also replaced failing mortar and crumbled bricks around the lower half of our house, and rebuilt a portion of badly damaged brick above a basement window lintel. They also replaced damaged mortar on the interior of the house around two chimneys. The crew were all kind, extremely professional, on time, and tidy.  Randy and Sergio constantly communicated with us throughout the entire process. Masonry work is not inexpensive, so we wanted to make sure it was done correctly. We are very pleased with the results and will use Randy and his team in the future for other masonry/stone work.

Sincerely,

Anna and Brian Dillow
